BOOKKEEPING

 Bookkeeping is the process of recording financial transactions such as sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank/cash payments, and bank/cash receipts.

 Accurate records are essential to keep a track of your finances, as your bookkeeper I would work with you to establish the information you want and the best way to achieve it. Some clients might choose to keep records themselves so I will just draw up final accounts, some clients might prefer to take a step back from the paperwork and let me process everything from start to finish, either way is fine with me, reports can be prepared either monthly, quarterly or annually, with a final draft at year end. 

As your bookkeeper my aim is to make sure that your records are up to date so you always know how your business is doing.

PAYROLL

I run a payroll bureau service and can process any size payroll from single employee upwards, these can be either weekly, fortnightly or monthly to suit your business.  

After processing the payroll I make all submissions to HMRC and your pension scheme (if required), I ensure statutory obligations are met regarding SSP, SMP, SPP, and SAP, and at year end I will submit  information to HMRC and issue the P60's. 

Payroll is very specific to each employer so I would work with you to establish the best way to achieve what you need.

GENERAL

I have many years experience working in finance so I understand that in addition to bookkeeping and payroll there are other jobs that fall into this field.  Each business is unique so the first step would be a consultation to see what help you need and work from there.  Some of the other services I offer are recording and processing CIS Returns, processing VAT Returns using MTD, maintaining Fixed Asset Registers, chasing outstanding debts, reviewing costs, and I can also liaise with HMRC and accountants at your request.
